Membership Agreement

 By signing the Sun God Archery at UCSD (“SGA”) Membership Contract, I understand and agree to abide by the following conditions of my SGA Membership.

  1. *Before shooting on the archery range that SGA uses to hold practice, I agree to be registered for a UCSD Recreation Archery class for the current quarter.

  2. *I have read and understand, and signed the SGA Member and Participant Waiver.

  3. I have read and understand and agree to the Website Terms of Use and Agreement.

  4. *I have read and understand, and will abide by the Range Rules for safe conduct on the shooting range.

  5. *I have read and understand, and will abide by the SGA Member Code of Conduct.

  6. *I will respect the Officers, Coaches, Instructors, and all other club members by upholding a comfortable shooting environment and refraining from unsportsmanlike conduct, disreputable behavior, and actions which may disrupt SGA activities.

  7. I will assist with setting up/tearing down the field if schedule permits (arriving or leaving within the first/last 30 minutes of practice).

  8. I will abide by the SGA “three-strikes” policy, which states that repeated violations of these conditions may result in membership suspension. Common violations include, but are not limited to, the following:

    1. Unsportsmanlike conduct

    2. Violating the “all-clear” (see Range Rules)

    3. Leaving practice within the last half hour without helping/offering to clean up.

  9. I agree to pay the SGA Membership dues to be active member and shoot on the archery range SGA uses to hold practice. Dues are $50/quarter or $100/academic year. Summer is not included as part of the academic year.

  10. I understand that Club Membership dues are non-refundable, for any reason.

  11. I understand that only if I am an active SGA member and am a full time, enrolled student at UC San Diego am I able to vote in SGA Officer Elections and Elections regarding Constitutional Amendments.

  12. *I understand that only SGA Club members are given access to the SGA Vendor Discounts as a benefit of SGA membership and agree to only purchase items through those discounts for myself, SGA, or for other currently active SGA members. I will not purchase items with those discounts with the intent to give the item to a non-member or resell the item at cost or to make a profit.

  13. *For SGA Members eligible to use SGA collegiate-only Vendor Discounts, I understand that only SGA Club Members eligible to participate in the USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program can utilize the college-only Vendor Discounts and agree to only purchase items through those discounts for myself, other SGA Club Members who are also eligible to participate in collegiate archery, SGA, or SGA Coaches. I will not purchase items with the intent to give the item to a non SGA Club Member or a SGA Club Member who is ineligible to participate in collegiate archery, or to resell the item at cost or for profit.

  14. *In the event that I accrue financial liabilities to SGA, I agree to pay such liabilities by the specified due date and/or come to an agreement with the SGA Officers on the terms of repayment.

*Violations may result in SGA Membership suspension or termination.
